§ LGED's chief engineer is acting as the official head of the LGED office in Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207. § LGED's activities are spread over 10 regions across the country, such as Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Comilla and Faridpur. Each zone is headed by a caretaker engineer. There are 8 officers, including the Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer, under the supervision of caretaker engineers in every region - who supervise the supervision and supervision of the LGED including the entrusted administrative responsibilities of the districts.
